Overview:
Multiple installations, 3 of which are detailed here.
Total of 10m balustrading installed, working directly
for the bar patron.

| Detail:
Mixed
304 stainless steel glass and aluminium sheet metal
staircase balustrade set in wood anchors. The lower
section is a 304 stainless steel
part spiral with punch anodised fitted aluminium panels.
The upper
section
is
a 304 stainless steel handrail
with a custom shaped 10mm toughened glass romboid section
with polished edges. All joints are standard sections
bolted and glued together.
The fixings are wood to metal coach bolts with steel
dome nuts. This section took 2 weeks to fabricate and
fit. |
| Detail:
Small stair top 304 stainless
steel 42.4mmØ tube balustrade
with 10mm safety glass (polished edges). Initial client
specification did not include full upright to ceiling
which was added by Perlam Sheet Metal in order to provide
greater structural strength. Fittings were wood to
metal coach bolts with stainless steel dome nutsset
into wooden anchors. 1m of stainless steel balustrade
with 2m upright fitted with standard screw fixed joints,
angles and flanged ends. This section took 1 week to
fabricate and fit. |
| Detail:
Reburbished wrought iron spiral stair case. Staircase
was dismantled, shot blasted and powder coated black
prior to refitting. The job took 3-4 weeks to complete. |
