Staircase - Bromley

Overview: Stainless steel & glass balustrade staircase balustrading for private residence in Bromley. Built to customer specification, this project involved 5m of stainless steel with 10mm toughened glass stair balustrading including a landing section.

Detail: The balustrading was fabricated from standard 304 stainless steel 42.4mmØ tube sections with 10mm toughened safety glass with polished edges. PerlamSheetMetal undertook full design and installation which took 2-3 weeks. The staircase had no existing handrail and was pre-finished. All handrail and upright fittings were fitted together with screws and glue and mounting flanges were fitted with wood to metal coach bolts and stainless steel dome nuts.
