Materials
Material
that we have experience with are detailed below:
Mild
Steel:
Most of our work is with mild steel
such as CR4 & HR4 in most forms including sheet,
billet, bar, tube, wire, and section.
Specialist materials include Zintec & Galvanised.
Aluminium:
We work with most grades of aluminium related to
the sheetmetal industry including T50, S221 and L156.
Stainless
Steel:
We work with stainless steel for both our
sheet metal & fabrication operations as well as our
balustrading section. Primary materials are 304 &
316.
Brass:
Predominantly CZ121 which is a good all round material
and used for is corrosion resistence in both marine
applications and medical & food related products.
Copper:
Sheet
copper is used for fabrications for both architectural
applications as well as electrical & electronic
components. Copper alloys include pure, free machining,
Copper-Zinc Alloys (Brass), Copper-tin Alloys (Phosphor
Bronze), Copper-Aluminum Alloys (Aluminum Bronze),
Copper-Silicon Alloys (Silicon Bronzes), Copper Nickel
Alloys and Copper Nickel Zinc Alloys (Nickel Silvers).
Steel:
We use bright steel for a large number of applications
including fabrication and punched parts. Black iron
is used widely within our architectural metalwork
and balustrading section for a more traditional finish.
